It was [a] very nice improvement compared to without room treatments. Using [a] mirror to find [the] first reflection for side walls was easy. The improvements were clarity of sound, deeper bass and big soundstage. The speakers disappeared and vocal image is spot on in the middle. I’m able to play at lower volume and still hear clearly. This is great news, I’m very happy with my sound system and room now. 🙂

 

I have finally mount the panels on wall and ceiling! The […] most challenging was the ceiling since I had to do it alone. But the effort was worth it. The result was, the sound becomes effortless, details are easier to locate where they come from, soundstage becomes 3D and speakers disappeared. Sound is transparent, has a greater sense of weight and bass seems to get deeper. Great investment, it should have been my first thing to do before choosing any components.

Mike builds professional grade acoustic room treatments at very reasonable prices. Try pricing acoustic treatments in retail stores and I’m sure you will agree. I bought a pair of his bass traps on the weekend and they made a noticeable difference in tightening up the bass in my room.
